Gateway

The Dentist Gateway Families Reach Just West of the Interstate.

Dental Hygiene Centers sits a short drive west of Gateway toward College Parkway, and families make the trip for the same two doctors, an unhurried chairside manner, and a 5.0-star reputation built on remembering names.

The Drive from Gateway

Gateway is the master-planned community tucked against Interstate 75 in eastern Fort Myers, threaded by Gateway Boulevard and Treeline Avenue and best known to visitors as the home of JetBlue Park, where the Red Sox hold spring training. Its neighborhoods, from The Plantation to the homes strung along Griffin Drive, sit just north of Southwest Florida International Airport, which makes the area feel a little removed from the older parts of town. Getting from Gateway to the office at 5995 South Pointe Blvd #109 means heading west off the interstate, either down Daniels Parkway or over on Colonial Boulevard, then working toward the Summerlin and College Parkway area where South Pointe Boulevard sits. With I-75 and those two parkways doing the heavy lifting, it is an easy, mostly straight-line drive that avoids the bridges other suburbs have to cross.

Convenience aside, what brings Gateway households in is the same thing that pulls families from farther out: a locally owned office that does not shuffle its dentists. Many Gateway patients moved to the area for its newer neighborhoods and expected the same churn from a dental chain, then found the opposite here. Dr. Yandy Orozco and Dr. Rodriguez see returning patients personally, and office manager Jen Brown and Shawna Doyle are the same faces on the phone and in the chair every time.

What Gateway Families Book

Plenty of Gateway patients are professionals and young families keeping up with routine care, so most start with a dental cleaning on a regular cadence. From there, interest often turns cosmetic: cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening are common requests before a wedding, a reunion, or a season of client meetings. Others exploring a straighter smile without metal ask about Invisalign, and get an honest read on whether they are a good candidate rather than a hard sell.

Whatever fills the chair, the values hold steady: conservative treatment, transparent pricing, and continuity of care visit after visit. The practice accepts Aetna, Delta Dental, Humana, MetLife, Cigna, United Concordia, Principal, and The Guardian, with CareCredit financing available for larger plans.
